VH-Platform is Vidiia-Hunter's agile bench platform for molecular development. The same platform you develop on, is the platform you deploy on.

IS THIS FOR YOU?

If you are developing or adapting a molecular assay and want to develop on a platform that is deployable from day one.

Best Fit

You are an assay developer, R+D scientist or molecular biology researcher. Working on a target with point-of-care or field-deployable ambitions.

You want an OPEN development environment cheaper and faster to iterate on than PCR.

What you ACCESS

VH-6 I or II isothermal amplification device. Compact, mains or battery, AI-assisted readout. Modular run one device or many in parallel Cheap and fast to iterate, low cost per run, more iterations for the cost of fewer PCR runs. PCR-grade accuracy proven, 98% sensitivity, 100% specificity, UK GOV MHRA approved

VH-LyoMM lyophilised mastermix beads. Lab-independent by design, no cold chain, no centrifuge, no trained operator.

VH-App Digital Lab Book and secure cloud-based data management.

VH-RapidPrep extraction kit. Simple Sample Extraction in under 6 minutes

AESI, the AI inside AI-LAMP® watches the reaction throughout the full testing process

How AI-LAMP® enables PCR grade accuracy?

LAMP, in one paragraph

Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) is a molecular method that amplifies DNA or RNA at a single, constant temperature. It does not need the thermocycling steps that PCR depends on, which means it does not need a thermocycler, a power-hungry instrument, or the time and infrastructure that go with one. The trade-off is that primer design is more involved than for PCR. Vidiia's team handles that as part of every development programme.

Why colorimetric

LAMP reactions can be read as a visible colour change between positive and negative results. That removes the need for fluorescence optics, complex calibration, and the cost that follows from those choices. It is the difference between a piece of laboratory infrastructure and a piece of equipment you can put on a vet's bench or a clinic countertop.

Why AI readout makes the difference (AESI)

Colorimetric on its own gives you a binary read with limited sensitivity. Vidiia's proprietary system AESI (AI-Enabled Signal Intelligence) watches the reaction throughout, not just at the end. It captures subtle colour changes the human eye misses, and it turns the visible reaction into a quantitative signal with PCR-grade accuracy. That is the meaning of the AI in AI-LAMP®, and it is what closes the perceived sensitivity gap between colorimetric LAMP and lab-grade PCR.

Why lyophilised reagents matter

Our mastermix is lyophilised (freeze-dried) into stable beads that need no cold chain. They sit at room temperature for shipping and storage, and they rehydrate at the point of use. That removes the largest single barrier to deploying molecular diagnostics outside a centralised lab: the requirement for cold storage and the logistics that go with it.

At a glance:

Sensitivity 98% (COVID-19 baseline, UK Gov approved)
Specificity 100% (COVID-19 baseline, UK Gov approved)
Sample prep Under 6 minutes typical, around 1 minute active extraction
Cold chain None required. Lyophilised reagents room-temperature stable.
Hardware footprint Compact, mains or battery
Software VH-App lab book plus VH-Cloud data management, included

Where the VH-Platform fits

Vidiia deliberately do not compete against large-scale, multiplex, plate-based laboratory diagnostics.

There are companies who do that well. VH-Platform is for everywhere else.

Stage Setting Conditions
Centralised labs Central power Full lab conditions
Institutional Health centres, hospitals Some manual steps
Proximal Retail clinics, nursing homes Reduced infrastructure
Domestic Homes, farms Minimal infrastructure
Ultra-remote Field work, warzones No power, full portability. Rugged, low risk of error.

"Partnering with Vidiia has significantly de-risked commercial assay development projects enabling Universities such as the University of Surrey to advance assay/technology readiness levels on reduced investment and timeframes compared to previous commercial models. Their collaborative approach, technical expertise and commercial thinking gelled perfectly with our researcher’s scientific knowledge leading to multiple market ready solutions. I’m pleased to recommend partnering with Vidiia to any academic institution looking to transfer assays from the research lab into society."
